Steve Kornacki doesn't understand fractions.

As demonstrated by his recent post on Salon.com.

The argument, in Steve's mind, goes like this:

Everyone Steve Disagrees With: Hey, guys! Let's stop the government spending money on everything!
*hurricane*
Everyone Steve Disagrees With: Wow! That was exciting, but my bird feeder is broken! I need the government to fix it!
Steve & His Friends: HOLY CRAP HYPOCRITES, WHERES MY SALON.COM BUTTON.

And here's something a little closer to reality:

Everyone Steve Disagrees With: Sheesh, it seems like our government and public servants are wasting an awful lot of our money on things that aren't working, and now the government wants even more of our money to pay for more of these things. We're in a lot of debt already. This seems somewhat irresponsible. We should find a way to start trimming the excess. No, it's not going to be easy to get 200 million people to agree on what should be cut, but we gotta start somewhere.

Everyone Steve Disagrees With: Hey. My bird feeder.
Steve & His Friends: YOU AND SOME BIRDS CAN STARVE TO DEATH. THIS IS WHAT YOU ASKED FOR.
